Well we're still just cooking along, you and I. Time still feels to be flying by which I'm completely ok with because I'm just really anxious to see your little face. I've started to daydream a little bit more often about what you're going to look like. I keep telling everyone as long as you get mommy and daddy's blonde hair, mommy's eye color {that changes color} and daddy's skin tone so you can be a little tan baby then I will feel successful at giving you our best genes. I actually don't really care, you're going to be the cutest little baby on the planet either way.
We're going to see "Auntie Ellen" tomorrow!! I seriously am so excited. We have everyone ready with their DVR's all set and super excited to see what we get. I can't wait to tell you all about it.
Other things that have been going on.... Well last week mommy's back decided that it just wanted to hurt really, really, really bad again. It definitely was not one of the most comfortable weeks I've had. No matter what I tried to do I just couldn't find comfort. I think you're just really going through another major growth spurt {this growing belly is proof}. Daddy was actually out of town from Thursday through Sunday and was nice enough to take your fur brother over to Grandma and Grandpa's so mommy could just have a few days to completely relax. It was really nice to not worry about anything and get some solid quiet time.
On Monday we had our 28 week appointment. Mommy got her Rogham shot to protect against this blood stuff I told you about way back since there is a chance that your blood and my blood may not like each other. Other than that the appointment was the usual. We did start to talk about things that I should be keeping an eye on now as we get closer to you making your arrival. With the end of that appointment we're now moving from monthly checkups to having them every two weeks!! Things are really moving along. Like I said before I just really can't wait to see you.
This weekend is Mother's Day and I have to admit it seems so crazy that technically I'm a mommy now and there is a day dedicated to mommies that I get to be spoiled on now. We'll see if daddy has anything up his sleeve :)
Until then....
xoxo
Mommy
