Dear Little Munchkin

Well…you probably noticed I decided to stop calling you {little monster}.  {Munchkin} is going to do for now.

So little munchkin we had quite the week.  One that to be honest I'm still trying to forget three quarters of.  Your doggy brother Ruxin put you and I through quite a scare and Mommy just about had a nervous breakdown.  At the end of the day though, you and mommy are just fine.  He's really sorry for what happened.  So you know we love the doggy a whole lot and he's going to stick around for a long while and be your bestest buddy.

So I said I wanted to forget about three quarters of the week, that's because the other part of the week was really awesome.  We got to see you and hear you again!!  This week we went in for a Nuchal Translucency test to check on you in a little more detail and make sure that you're doing ok in there. The doctor said that from first glance at everything you're looking really really good.  You're just over 2 inches long already.  We're hoping you're going to be tall!!  Mommy had to give some more blood when we were done as the second part of the test but we're pretty confident that there is nothing to worry about.

You were quite the active little jelly bean in there too!  You were moving your hands up and down a lot!!  It really was crazy how much more active you are now than you were just two weeks ago!  You finally got to your daddy too!  He got choked up this time when we saw you and heard you!  I think seeing you move around so much more this time made it just that much for real for him.  Me and you, we're both really lucky just so you know.  He's going to be an amazing dad!  And it's crazy little munchkin just how much more I've fallen in love with him since we got pregnant with you.  You are bringing us even closer than I ever imagined we could be and it's amazing.

I think we're almost ready to tell the whole world about you!!!
