Dear Little Munchkin

So it was quite a big week.  Daddy had gotten back from his week long trip to Vegas and it was really nice to have him home.  It's crazy how much I missed him this week.  I told you before I really feel like daddy and I are closer now than I even imagined we could be.  He even took us to BuyBuyBaby!  You should have seen him in the baby carrier section.  It was pretty funny to watch him try and put the carrier on.  So your daddy is "kind of a big guy"  {I say it that way because honestly he says this all the time and it cracks me up, so just warning you, you'll hear this a lot when you come out here and join us}  I tightened up the straps on the back piece and then he was slowly realizing ok well where the heck is the baby going to fit.  He's not lying, he's a big guy and I feel like he might strangle you in the baby carrier.  I think that is going to be our little thing.  Not daddy's.

Overall though he loved walking around the store.  {don't let him fool you}  He really got into some of the stuff trying to figure it all out.  He was good with the high chairs and we both realized that if the trays were going to be a pain to get on and off you weren't getting that chair.  So he pulled down at least four of them and I think we found one that we both find easy.  He really dug the chair/swing stuff.  He was fascinated that some of them vibrated, played you music, one even had a heated seat.  His mind was blown!!  The next big section though where the car seats and strollers were....well let's just say the look on his face was priceless. It literally was three walls and a huge space just loaded with hundreds of them.  Luckily for him, mommy goes into this stuff prepared and I narrowed it down prior to about three that I really liked.  Again though he really got into trying to figure out how to work the strollers.  I can't wait for you to get here and take walks with the one we really like!

When we got home later that night we decided we were ready to do the big Social Media reveal too!!  I was so excited to finally not be keeping you a secret from the major masses anymore.  Here is how we told everyone:

So other than that our checkup went really good.  And surprise to me, mommy did get to hear your heartbeat!  I won't ever get sick of that sound, it really is the most amazing thing ever.  You're still beating really really strong!  Other than that mostly this appointment was to go over all those tubes of blood they took from me a few weeks ago.  Everything checked out normal except for the news that I am RH Negative.  I know you have no idea what that it, but don't stress.  It just means that mommy has to get a shot before you come and maybe another right after you're born.  But we're going to be just fine!
