So I've been meaning to write to you sooner but have been really busy. This past weekend Mommy and Daddy took a little babymoon up to San Francisco to finally get away and have some time together. I had never seen SF so I was really excited to do some of the touristy things!! {Alcatraz, The Painted Ladies, The Golden Gate Bridge, The Cable Cars etc...} Although we didn't actually do the tour of Alcatraz, we could see it from the pier area by the hotel where we stayed. Next time we go up I told Daddy we have to actually do the tour! The Golden Gate Bridge really is one of the most amazing pieces of architecture that I have ever seen. It is absolutely massive and being able to be under it, around it....it was mind blowing. The Painted Ladies were awesome too. They are a strip of Victorian style houses in SF that were made really famous from a show mommy grew up watching called "Full House". Across the street is a park area too where the family from the show would be shown picnicking in. It was one thing I was really looking forward to seeing! We didn't exactly picnic but I had to get a pic in front of the houses from the park!
San Francisco is such a gorgeous city. There really is a lot to do, so much I feel that there was still so much we didn't even see. With it being so close {ok who am I kidding, the car ride was brutal} we'll be going back! Probably the next time we go back you'll get to go for real!!!
We are so close to the halfway point. It seems crazy that it's gone by this fast. Part of me is really excited that we're almost there but then there is part of me that is getting really scared. In my head I know that mommy and daddy are going to be good parents to you {as good as we can be}, but part of me gets really scared that we're not going to know what we're doing and we're going to screw it all up. I just hope that we can make you proud.
Next Friday we get to find out if you are a boy or a girl!! I've been counting down the days!! I think once we know, we'll be able to bond so much more with you!! Until then....
xoxo,
Mommy
