With so much going on lately we hadn't had a lot of time to really sit down and decide how we wanted to spend our "mini-moon". Not quite a full long extended "Honeymoon" like we really wish we could do right away. I'm using up pretty much all of my vacation time the week of the wedding while my family is in town. None the less though we just wanted time away for just the two of us. We had kicked around a few ideas on how we could keep the the travel time to a minimum so that we didn't have to lose so much time trying to get to wherever we were going.
The thought of going back to Maui where we got engaged sounded amazing. I could sit at that adult infinity pool again for days!! But we've been there and could go back anytime.

We thought about going to San Francisco because I've never been and have been dying to go see the city and ride in the token San Fran Cable Cars up those big crazy hills that San Fran is known for. Again though San Fran really isn't that far away and Wesley travels up north for work often enough that we could always just extend a weekend and go.
And then there was Vancouver, BC. I've always heard that its really one of the most gorgeous places and that there is just tons of stuff to do around the city and if you want to adventure outside the city a bit, plenty to explore. Now I know most of you know of my fond dislike for Canadians BUT I really do limit it mostly to the "BUFFALO CANADIAN'S". (Hopefully) I have heard from quite a few people and through a bunch of the travel sites that I've been checking that the people in Vancouver are amazing. Believe me, you DO NOT hear that about people in Ontario region. UGH.
So we did a little bit of a poll among some friends and it became very clear to go to the place neither of us has ever been! (With a bit of a pit stop along the way). We've decided on the following "mini-moon". I'm naming it Planes, Trains & Automobiles because we're going to utilize all forms of travel possible :)
Orange County, CA to Seattle, WA to Vancouver, BC
