The One About The Totally Awesome Blog Hop

Ok....I know you're all probably wondering why I haven't had a #SoWhatWednesday post in two weeks now.  Well to be honest I just haven't had enough good ideas of things I was saying So What to so I've been holding off.  I'll be back with something probably next week though I promise.  In the mean time I did find another blog "Chantilly Songs" who when I was scrolling through found that she does a post called the Totally Awesome Blog Hop.  It's a blog community building post.  Great way to increase my following, meet some new friends, get some great ideas and link up with other people that share my passion for writing and sharing what's going on in their life.

I'm super excited to try and link up with that crew this week.  Even if only one extra person reads my blog it's worth it.  Even if no one didn't I guess it doesn't really matter.  What I've learned lately is that even though I don't have hundreds of followers reading my blog everyday, writing this blog has been so therapeutic for me.  Writing through my wedding process was great for so many reasons.  I got to share everything that I was going through with my family back east.  I got to vent about wedding things that pissed me off.  I got to share really exciting details and stories about every aspect of the wedding.  Once the wedding was over I felt this lull like "shit what am I going to write about now?"  So I started reading other blogs.  Seeing what other people wrote about and it became exciting!  I realized I could write about just about anything and if no one read it, it didn't really matter.  Ok I lied, the one day I wrote that one #SoWhatWednesday post that got major hits because a Green Bay Packers Facebook news page reposted it for me might have been one of the happiest days of my life.  I felt like I really mattered.  In reality I wasn't that big of a deal, but that day I was unstoppable.

With that said I'm trying to link up again with more bloggers, blogging about things they love, things they hate, all those things.
